Video Player Support

The Phenix video player for real-time streaming is standard HTML compliant. The Phenix JavaScript Web SDK for web playback provides the additional features of multi-bitrate adaptive streaming and synchronization on top of the WebRTC standard.

We do not know of any HLS / DASH players that also support real-time / WebRTC. Phenix provides a default player implementation, however, and the Phenix Javascript SDK combined with the standard HTML video tag features allows customers to modify their players to hook into the typical events and controls to connect player UI elements and create a custom player UX.

Phenix has the ability to integrate its real-time playback with any existing player. We are open to evaluating player requirements on a case-by-case basis to minimize customer implementation timelines and required client side changes.
