Create a Channel or Room using the Phenix Portal

Log into the Phenix customer portal (https://phenixrts.com/portal/).

Logging into the portal requires an AppID and Secret. If you do not have an AppID and secret, please contact your Phenix representative.

Create a new channel by clicking on the plus sign in the upper right corner of the Channels page. The same icon is shown in the Rooms page, and creating a Room follows the same process as shown for Channel.

The portal will display a dialog. Enter an alias, name, and description for the channel.

Channel names must start with a number or a letter (which can be either uppercase or lowercase).

The channel name should contain only numbers, letters, dashes, or underscores, and should be 50 characters or less.

If creating a Room, you will also select the Room Type.

The new channel will be shown in the Channels page.
